Thanks you for you quick response. You are 3 of 4 lawyers that have given me the same opinion on this issue. I feel confident now to tell this poor kid that it's a lesson to be learned on his part. In reality though, I will probably offer to pay for a percentage of the damages, I do feel responsible as a parent for this "stupid" act of my daughter. Hopefully this will be a lesson well learned for her as well that driving is a huge responsibility, and is not to be taken lightly.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter. When I mentioned to Lowe's that I was consulting an attorney (WorldLawDirect) as well as an assistant to the Governor it was amazing how quickly they followed through in the Customer Service dept. Lowe's has since credited the labor fee's and assorted unused materials back to my credit card account (I phoned the 24-hr line to confirm).
WorldLawDirect is a wonderful service to the public and I appreciate your timely response.
