I need help. When my Husband and I married he already owned the home that we still live in. We now want to do a Quit Claim Deed to add my name to the deed. Should we deed as Joint Tenants with full rights of Survivor or as an Estate in its Entirety? My Husband was just diagnosed with a very life threatening disease and we need to get our business in order. He has grown adult children but he and I have worked for this together and we want to make sure our investments are protected.

I would suggest you have a real estate lawyer briefly review that with you to make sure it is done correctly for all purposes, taxation included.
