Question Will

My sister called and said my mother changed her will in 2002 and eliminated her two daughters. She wants to contest the will even though I told her they would not receive anything anyway because the money was used for moms care. I have durable power of attorney over moms finances. Does that supercede the will? The power of attorney was done way after the will. Thank You
