Hello i need help a few issues . first 1 1/2 years ago my husband and i were sold some property in arkansas for 30,000 it is worth about 125,000. she really wanted to give it to us but we agreed that 30,000 was okay. she went on to give us power of attorney over her well she passed away on dec 23 2007 and now step son has come into the picture has become administrater of her estate, one more thing when she signed the deed she added a clause stating that the house and all contents inside and out weree to be included and she wished nobody to contend her decisions there was also a bank account in her, my husband and my name that the step son took money out of , we paid taxes on th e house and 100 acres last year what should we do he has put a legal notice in the paper help help we are pastors and have little income

You can file in court to remove him if he is not acting in accordance with the terms of the will.

Presumably he is not contesting the will at this point??

HELLO JUDGE FOR THANK U FOR ANSWERING I DONT KNOW OF A WILL BUT THERE MAY BE ONE FROM WHAT I FOUND OUT WAS THAT THERE WAS ONE AT ONE TIME AND ABOUT 4 OR 5 YEARS AGO SHE WAS VERY PERSISTANT TO GET HIS NAME REMOVED BUT I DONT KNOW EXACTLY SHE NEVER MENTIONED IT AND SHE ACTUALLY SAID SHE WANTED US TO HAVE ALL POWER OVER HER AND WE DID GO TO A LAWYER AND GET FULL POWER OF ATTORNEY BUT THIS STEP SON HAD IT REVOKED 4 DAYS BEFORE SHE DIED AND THATS WHEN HE WENT TO THE BANK AND A LAWYER AND STARTED TO DO ALL THIS . SHE WAS VERY ANGRY AT HIM BECAUSE SHE BEING 85 WHEN SHE DIED HE NEVER CAME TO SEE HOW SHE WAS OR HELP HER OUT SHE SAID HE ONLY CAME WHEN HE WANTED SOMETHING FROM HER AND SHE WAS A VERY CHRISTIAN WOMAN SHE WANTED THAT LAND AND EVERTHING SHE HAD TO BE USED FOR GOD WE ARE PLANNING AND ALREDY HAVING PRAYER MEETINGS AND EVENTUALLY IT WILL BE COME A RETREAT CENTER I WAS ADVISED ONCE TO REQUEST A QUIET TITLE TO THE DEED WHILE THE WITNESSES ARE STILL AVAILABLE WHAT DO THINK ? CAN I DO IT ON MY OWN OR DO I HAVE TO HAVE AN ATTORNE PS NO ATTORNEY WANTS TO HELP ME I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HAVE SAID THEY DONT HAVE TIME ECT..
