unprobated will, executor requiring release without accounting
Executor requesting release of funds without accounting, requesting release to himself solely releasing bank of further suit as they are releasing without probate or letter of admin. Executor asked re: accts previously. Sent letter from lawyer requesting info. Executor called to know why document not returned, and received letter of request from my lawyer, upon returning his call indicated all further communications to be via lawyer and hung up.
??? Now what? Received letter from lawyer that was sent, it was poorly worded not just requesting info. Not happy with this and now What?? ANy ideas??? |

You can file in court and challenge any actions that you feel are improper or that do not comply with law.
Reasonable accounting requirements normally need to be complied with, especially if other heirs have questions etc. |
