in a last will and testament...if the name of the person was spelled incorrectly all the way throughout, and the 90+ year old signed his name correctly to it...is this a legal document? the will is for ____ keatley ____ and the person's legal name is ____ keightley _____ and that is how he signed it.

A court would probably allow it if it is clear it was just an error, but it will not be for sure that that would be a court's decision.
Is anybody contesting it? |

was considering contesting it....but at $3200 retainer for the attorney wanted to know first about the legality of the document due to the spelling error. proving the mental state of the testator at the time of the will signing was going to be difficult already.
