Is there a legal time limit for contesting a will in Ontario? I have heard it is six months from the time the person passes away. Is this true and if so is it legislation in the province or country. What can be done if it has been longer than six months and someone wants to contest a will? Are they basically just out of luck, so to speak.

It varies among provinces and states but can start to run from the time you learn of reason to contest it.
So have a lawyer review the facts as you may still be eligibe to do so, even if time has passed. |
