Unhappy Propert Deed/Revocable Trust Issue..PLEASE HELP!

My Dad created a Revocable Family Trust in March of 2005. I was Successor Trustee and all property in the estate was to be transferred to me upon his death. He specifically disinherited my brother in this Trust because my brother abandoned my dad after my mom's death in 2004. My dad passed in July of 2007. In October of '07 my brother wrote me a letter saying that HE owned the property and that I had to move. His letter was accompanied by a Grant deed that was executed 2 weeks before my mom died in July of '04. My brother's lawyer says that my dad had no right to transfer the property into the Trust in the first place. The Grant Deed that my brother has is signed by both of our parents and says that the property is a life estate for my parents and title goes to my brother upon the last parents death. Obviously my dad changed his mind, knowing that my brother is very wealthy and didn't NEED a home and also was very hurt by my brother's abandonment. He never even mentioned the Grant Deed to me. He wanted my children and I to have his home when he was gone. Does this Grant Deed take precedence over the Quitclaim deed in the Trust? I would appreciate anyone's help. I have no money for a lawyer and I am about to just give up and have no home
Thank You!

You may want to have a title company first review everything and give their opinion--the cost should be minor.

Exclamation Re: Propert Deed/Revocable Trust Issue..PLEASE HELP!

Hi dear, boy it looks like you are in a similiar situation as myself...only my situation took place maliously in front of me. My mother put her brother, shady excommunicated priest,(which at the time i thought he loved me)as power of attornney, before her demensia arrived. I was never told what went on financially, where $150+K or anything else. Then I am told I am no longer in the will,(house too)it all goes in trust for my brother. The kicker is the priest made my brothers 2 daughters from hell the executors of her estate..........by the way, they do not need ANYTHING. ..yet i am on welfare presently.and only if i would have listened to my friends.
The other oddly quirks that took event also right after mom signs the power of attorney over to "uncle Chucky" ,..my brother, overweight, self-centered not a really nice person , stays over moms house, seeing what he could take, and does too much powder, and has a massive stroke,
so now they are both in the same nursing homes.
and please, if anyone has any advice, any advice, i would greatly appreciate it for not only am i indigent now, but i lost my family too. Crying is constant, and i really need to get past this or deal with it better.......
