can a trustee keep the trust from me

i have a trust that is suppose to be handed over to me when i am 25 or for
educational purposes well i turn 25 9/18/2007. about a year ago i became
involved with child protective services because i of hear say. so i had to
take take some drug out patient therapy. i have been sober for over a year
now. there was never any criminal charges put against me. just today two
weeks before i am suppose to get it my trustee tells me that he is not going
to give it to me and the earliest he will even consider it is at the end of
the year i was suppose to have a wedding with this money this is not fair is
it legal him keeping it from me?

It depends what the trust terms say--but you can dispute that and take it to court if need be.

Carefully review the trust to see if any restrictions exists--such as to drug issues, arrests or other items.
