Question living trust

My grandparents estate was put into a living trust with my aunt as executor. Is there any way for me to find out what was left to whom. Since this will not go through probate is it still a public record like a will?

In general, children etc. have no right to information about a parent's
trust. The trust is a private arrangement between the person who
creates the trust -- called a trustor, settlor, or grantor -- and the
trustee (the bank, eg).

If the children are named as beneficiaries of the trust and are to
inherit trust property when one or both of the parents die, then the
brood will have certain rights to know the trust details. these
rights kick in after the death of the parent/trustor, not before.

Thank you for the information. My grandmother recently died. I was always told that I would inherit part of her estate. Since it was all put into a living trust with my aunt in charge, I was not sure if the aunt had any legal obligation to tell me how the estate was divided up.

You may always file in court and try to force disclosure if you have some reasonable suspicion of fraud. You should have been informed by now if any assets were supposed to be going to you.
