My father in-law was recently informed he has terminal cancer. He has a trust set up for his children. My husband is handicapped,on ssd and medicare. My father-in-law has contacted his trust advisor, but he has not come up with a solution to keep my husband from losing his benefits.I have a trust set up for my children from a previous marriage and I can not dip into that to care for my husband .My husbands inheritance will not be large. What can his father do?
