Question Lawyer necessary?

Father passed. I'm executor with 2 siblings. Valid will written. Total estate worth less than $200,000. Lawyer necessary? If so for what?

Default Re: Lawyer necessary?

It does help. But many people do it alone. You can try to set a flat fixed fee.

Call your local probate court as well and pick up the instructions. See how you feel after that. If comfortable you may try to proceed on your own.
