Question Contesting a Texas will

As sibling was named as executor and has power of attorney for the estate of just recently deceased remaining parent. Executor has not provided info. to me regarding the posting of the will. Executor has stated to another sibling that expending effort in providing statements of accounts will not be done. The attorney office states it represents the estate, however, said the executor could provide the information requested by other heirs. Heirs not being kept informed or provided accurate documentation regarding parents estate. How does the value of items and accounts get appraised and what rights does an heir have to contest the will? Can the assets be frozen until further discovery of accounts? I am needing to know what other questions to ask regarding the handling of the estate by the executor. thank you.

Default Re: Contesting a Texas will

If the executor does not providea full and reasonable accounting, they can be removed if you file in court and object.
