Default prenuptial agreement

hi,

i hope i posted this in the right forum or someone can move it to a more appropriate forum if required.

i am a canadian citizen (born & bred) & am planning to marry my thai girlfrind of 2 years in the fall. however i want to get a prenup drawn up in the event of worst case scenario.

i can't seem to find much info with regards to prenups for couples who aren't citizens of the same country. can someone please provide some advice or perhaps URL/links to web sites that might have answers for this situation?

i have called quite a few local lawyers (canada) & no luck. some do prenups but only within the confines of canada.

this really can't be that uncommon, is it?

i have tried lawdepot.com & filled out a mock prenup there but again those agreements don't allow me to enter info that is outside the borders of canada (city & province) she resides in, etc.

i have found some sample prenups online that peeps have posted where they cover two people from two different countries. but of the ones i have found they are all geared with a focus on american citizens & their international spouse-to-be. so i don't know how i would be leaving myself open to an invalid pernup if i used any of those samples as the basis for a prenup for myself & my spouce-to-be.

any advice or ideas are very very welcome

You may want to email world law lawyers on the home page as well if you want to get into details

you can enter into an agreement and choose what law governs as long as there is a reasonable nexus.
