See debts and judgments: http://www.worldlawdirect.com/article.php?id=1758

Do you mean as to estate rules or meaning how long can the creditors seek the funds?

Yes, as of Feb. we still are getting bills from Doctors, hospitals and an ambulance co. The executrix of the estate is holding back giving out the little money there was, until every bill is paid. The bills are not big ones, but still I would like to close everything up, New Jersey really s--ks with it`s fees, taxes, and paper work. They want $10s a person, to check for child-support. The people in the will are two, 50 year olds, one, 60, one 84, and one in his 90s. Thanks for the web site, I`ll check it out.

You normally need to give one notice from the estate that you are paying the bills and they have to make their claim or they lose their rights. You need not hold it open.

The only thing is that we don`t kow what bills are still out there. They should all be paid, but you never know. I guess i`ll tell my cousin to close everything up, and if smething come in we`ll tell them that the time limit is up and wait and see if they will take that for an answer. If not, i`ll pay out of my share. thanks to all
