Confused Inheritance Rights

My partner & I are living-in together for 9 yrs. but not married. He's much older than me & we have no children. He has a number of real estate properties & bank accounts. I'd like to know my rights to his properties when he passes. What are the legal actions I must take to make sure that I will inherit his possessions? He has siblings & I'm afraid that they will take in charge of his properties. Thank you.

Default Re: Inheritance Rights

You will have no rights if you are not common law married at least,
or cannot argue how you actually acquired and paid for some assets--get a will made asap!
