Inheritance Rights
My partner & I are living-in together for 9 yrs. but not married. He's much older than me & we have no children. He has a number of real estate properties & bank accounts. I'd like to know my rights to his properties when he passes. What are the legal actions I must take to make sure that I will inherit his possessions? He has siblings & I'm afraid that they will take in charge of his properties. Thank you.

You will have no rights if you are not common law married at least,
or cannot argue how you actually acquired and paid for some assets--get a will made asap! |
