LEGAL dEED?
This question coming from Missouri. If a man and woman were never legally married but yet the deed to property shows them with the same last name on it because the woman always used the mans last name, is that legal? And when the man dies does it automatically go to the woman?

She would have to prove it was meant to be her and it does not automatically go fully to her on his death--she may get only her half; you need to have that reviewed and all put in order if you have not done so. Make a new deed and have a will made as well.
