Brother who is executor not giving brother fair share

I have a sibling who was named executor of my dads estate. My dad died 4 years ago and I have not seen any money from property dad owned. I was wondered if there is anything I can do? I want to sell all of the property and get my share of the money. What do I do?

You can tell your brother you will file in court for a full accounting --and to have him removed if this is not resolved immediately. He may nit be doing his duties properly if 4 years have passed. You might also have a second opinion lawyer briefly review it all.

As his Executor, he is legally responsible for making decisions regarding your father's estate. He can do, or not do, anything he wishes unless you contest the Will. You can contest the Will in Probate Court and bring your circumstances to the attention of the judge. But as it stands now, he is under no obligation to do anything you may want him to do. You cannot sell anything, as your brother is Executor. Only he can do that.
