inheritance problems
My mom passed away 11 years ago and left me n inheritance we also had a house that got freed that month she passed away. how do i find out the truth about the house and the inheritence i asked my dad but he keeps avoiding the subject.

You should have been informed long ago. If your father will not give you any information ask a lawyer to intervene and threaten a court order if need be. That is not information that should have been withheld from you. It's a bit odd you have no info after all this time.

If your mother had a Will, by law it has to be recorded in Probate Court. If your father never did this, inform the Probate Court. Hire an attorney and instruct that attorney to ask for the Will in discovery.
If you inherited anything and your father has kept it from you all these years, you can sue him in court for the items or their value. Speak with an attorney pronto. |
