Default Will and Power of Attorney

Hi my fiancee father just passed. He married an illegal alien 5 years ago, but she was given a green cards bc he couldn't prove that he could support her and her 3 children.she is 20 years longer than the him, and abandoned him for two years. While, he was in the hospital my fiancee was granted power of attorney. He sold the apartment while his father was in the hospice, but then this lady return to the apartment and conviced the father to move back so she can stay with the apartment. His father passed and we having a difficult time trying remove her from the apartment. The real estate doesn't want to interfere. What should we do?

My condolences on your loss. I wish that I had a simpler solution, but the truth of the matter is that you folks need to visit with a lawyer. I say this due to the immigration issues involved coupled with the involvement of this alien woman. If you go to their main page, I believe that you could contact WLD and get a referral to a lawyer in your area. Hope it all works out. AJJ
