Confused Renunciation form question

Hello All. My grandmother passed away a few weeks ago and yesterday my uncle gave my mom a Renunciation form to have notarized. We are unsure as what to this form is. From what I have researched it seems that she would be giving up her rights to anything from the will and estate. Please help!!!!! I don't want my mom to sign off on something she is unsure of.

Have a lawyer review. She may have some rights to funds or assets and you don't want to give those up for nothing.
