Default Decesed grandpa and grandma...Help!

My grandma was sick and the family was planning on her dying before my grandpa, so everything of hers he was named benificiary. In 2000 my grandpa died and a couple months after my grandma died. Since my grandpa died first it complicated the situation and he had a will but my grandma didn't. Its a huge mess and i am trying to figure out how to help my dad (their son) reveive all assests and unclaimed funds. I have no idea what to do. An attorney said to submit some forms to probabte. What forms and how do i find out all assests to fill the form out. Their is an attorney assigned to my grandpa's estate, is it our right to have all info. that the attorney has on my grandparents?

If it is all a big mess you need legal counsel to assist. Don't try to resolve yourself.

Ask the attorneys for a fixed fee and have them outline what they will do to get it all resolved.
