Change trustee
I have just done my taxes for the first time (I just graduated from college and was a dependant before now). I found that I have trusts, stocks and stuff all in my name and SS number but my dad is the trustee. The forms say I made over $4000 this year, but I saw not one penny from it. I had to pay taxes on this and he got to keep all of my money every year including this one. I know nothing abuot this, but I know I want my money and I do not want him keeping it all because of some legal loophole. How do I get it? Thanks!

You should not be paying taxes on administration fees.
And if he is keeping your proceeds that is not legal. Find out what is happening and review all documents. |
