Default Illinois

Illinois- My mother recently passed on, and in her will, she asked that all of her property immediately be sold. My father is still alive and is part owner of her property. Is he legally obligated to sell the property that he partially owns? Also, the will is hand wriiten and was not notarized until after she passed on.

Default Re: Illinois

Consult with a lawyer. Part of the estate remains with him no matter what the will says in most cases.
