My husband recently told me he left all monies in the hands of his mother in the event of his death. Can he do that?

In a will, anything is possible. Well, almost anything. First, if you share a bank account or anything with your name on it, too, then I'd say no. She couldn't take that from you if you are on it. Anything you are not on, he might be able to do that. On a side note, is he upset about something or holding this over your head at all. It could also be a sign of abuse if he puts you down or does things like this to upset you. Look closely and take care of yourself!
