Land in a father son deed
My father has land set up with his and my name on the deed. It is his for his life time and then it transfers to me after his passing. My question is will I have to pay inheritance taxes on the property after his passing, the land is in Nebraska and he is a resident there? I'm a Texas resident? Are there any Texas, Federal, or Nebraska requirements or implications? Should I have any concerns? Thanks for your advice.

Hi--we normally do not give specific tax advice on this site; you may check with the IRS directly; or your accountant; or the H & R Block web site for 20 dollars: HR Block Tax Advisor link --
