Default Where to Probate Will

My mother passed last month while residing in the state of Florida. Her will was signed in the state of Texas and she owns real property in Texas. Where does her will need to be probated, Florida or Texas?

Default Re: Where to Probate Will

Check with the local probate court but normally where she resided is where you will do that.

The court has detailed instructions for you to follow in most cases.
