Default Succession of trustees

As part of a revocable living trust I was appointed by the creator to act as trustee so long as (the creator) or (one of us) lives or until revocation is recorded. In an addendum the named successor trustee (my sister) shall fullfill all obligations without challenge or question. Since I was appointed trustee and still living, does my sister take over the obligations while I am still living? The creator, my mother died over a year ago.
