Default jan johns

I am a British citizen living in UK.
My brother was a British Citizen living in Sanfransisco. He died in April
2005 intestate. I am his only next of kin The probate is being handled by
San Francisco Public Administrator. After 3 years I am still waiting for the
estate to be resolved. He had no real estate only 3 bank accounts Could
anybody tell me why this is taking so long. They promised me closure months
ago . Now they wont even answer my e-mails.As far as I can gather all
accounts are done and gone to the court accountants back in January this
year.Any idea as to who I could contact.
Any advice I would be most grateful

I look forward to reading any replies as I am in similar situation. Aunt died in Dallas in 2004 - communication with attorney was very poor. I told him a few months ago that I was going to apply for 'accounting and distribution' of the estate (section 149b of the Probate Code), and got a reply saying that distribution of the assets would be most immediate. Ha ha. No contact since.
regards.

Something is wrong with both situations.

You need to have independent legal counsel contact them ASAP and investigate.

This should completely closed now unless there are some very unusual circumstances.

If need be have world law's lawyers intervene, or any counsel you may already know or have.
