will witness in doubt
My fathers will was supposedly signed and witnessed January 8
1993 /But appended to the Will is an affidavit of two witnesses made before the third witness as a notary public to make the will \"self-proved\". But this is dated January 11,1992 Twelve months prior to the will being writ is this legal ? (How can you witness something before it's been writen?) |

That could invalidate their signatures.
The court can help correct clear and defined errors, but it seems here it may be more than that?? ** Last edited by wld_team : Jun 27th, 2008 at 09:30 AM. |

Normally in the begining of a will it states that any wills made before the most current one are no longer valid. So check to see if that is in the most current will. If it is then anything signed before that will no longer be considered.
