Default info on a deed

Our parents own a farm. there are 4 kids. We were told the mom deeded it to the 4 kids as we were getting when they die. I know it was in the paper. We have seen nothing or signed anything. I am wondering if maybe it is in our names and will get only after parents die?

Why can you not ask them now? Better to clear up any confusion.
