Death certificates
Should I die on holiday in Spain is it necessary of just desirable to register the death with the British Counsel? I understand that to do so costs an additional 122 euros.
I have heard of an ‘International Death Certificate’ but cannot find where these are obtained. Are Spanish Death Certificates acceptable by banks etc for the purpose of probate? Enough questions for a new ‘incomer’ I think!!! |

My father died recently in Torrevieja,Spain.His was an international death certificate.My step-mum recieved it from the funeral director,that made the arrangements.
