Default Dad's truck

My dad passed away last week. He had a truck and the title is in his name first and my ex husband's name is second. Since my dad wasn't married, does half the truck belong to me and my sister, or does it belong solely to my ex?

Default Re: Dad's truck

That depends how exactly they listed it. It could be either way.

Are they joint and equal owners or each half.

Ask to see the title and have the DMV or a local lawyer give a quick opinion.
