Is there a waiting period for the executor to distribute items listed in a will or can it be done right away?
Where can this information be found on the web? Thanks in advance. |

The executor can use some discretion in getting the estate in order and figuring values etc.
What has been the problem? |

I have a vehicle that my father left me, but my stepmother seems to think that there is a 6 month waiting period before I can get it. I just wanted to know the rules and have something to convince her that there is no such waiting period.
