Confused help

father has passed away,left no will,left many bills behind and no money to pay them,are his grown children responsible to pay them,

no--only his estate his liable to the extent any assets exist

otherwise the creditors lose out

Any creditors will be able to apply for funds out of the sale of assets. If there is any home sale etc that makes up part of the estate, creditors can recover when the estate goes into probate.
