After my employer passed away the executrix kept giving me extra duties to my job. For 6 months I worked 7 days a week up to 16 hours a day. In the begining I knew money was tight and did not expect compensation for the added jobs at that time, however now I see where other employees are getting raises. The estate seems to be in a better financial position now. My question is would I be legally right to request interest to be added to the total amount owed. It has been 3 months since I petitioned the executrix for payment.

Not really.
You need to negotiate that upfront or if funds are short you may agree to be paid later. but you cannot demand extra funds that were not agreed...you can ask however. |
