i have to testifiy (grand jury)

my friend was arrested and there was a gun. i have to testify, its was bought off the street and i know who sold it. i didnt tell them at first because i was under stress and i had no sleep for two days. i'm scared and i never had to do this before. my friend said he was going to turn it in, i thought he did, but when they came to the house i showed them where it was.. do i get immunity and what i say they cant hold that against me... i just dont know what to do... can anyone please help?

You may want to consult your own lawyer to make sure you don't get tied up in this matter as well. You can refuse to testify in some cases but regardless of what you do it would help to have counsel advise you.
