I was convicted of a Felony in 1965, and received probation. In 1970 I
applied to the Governor of Wisconsin and was granted a full pardon. I want to know if a criminal search were done on me, would it show up, also if my fingerprints were checked would they be found. I am concerned because the job I am applying for requires an extensive background check. I would hate to be refejected for a foolish mistake made over 40 years ago. I was under the assumption at the time that after receiving a pardon those files were sealed, am I correct? |

Not in the official databases no.
But it may show up in private databases or on the web in some cases. |
