what to expect at court

My boyfriend was arrested in Duval County for peti theft back in september or october, not sure. He was sentenced with probation and community service. He recently got arrested again on january 7 for peti theft. The judge was only going to give him 5 days for this charge until he noticed that he was on probation. His next court date in january 30 and he has been in jail since so he would have served 23 days. He has no record other than these charges the arrest in september was his first. I'm just wondering what to expect come the 30th. Will he get more probation or will he have to serve more time? And if he does get more probation how do I go about getting it transfered to a different county where I'm living with his son.

more to add...when he goes to court on the 30th should he mention the fact that he is wanting to transfer to a different county will it make any difference or just leave it out?

Do you have a lawyer or public defender?

You really must have counsel at this point!

Don't handle this alone.

I dont know if he has either if he does he has a public defender
