Question can probation be transferred to another state?

when my boyfriend was 17 he had an misdemeanor assult charge.he got 12 months probation.he completed 6.now he has a warrant.but it has been like 4 years.when he goes to clear it up can he transfer it to the state we live in or will we have to move to that state till he finishes it?and will he get jail time for the warrant?

It will have to start where he he was sentenced, and they could indeed jail him but hire a lawyer and see if something can be negotiated.

It is likely that you can work out something.
