EEK! Jury Tampering?

Finally found the juror who was detained by police on her way to 2nd day of jury duty! This was back in Feb. 2005 and because of her being suspiciously stopped by this policeman; lead her to be late to the proceedings. She did ask them to call the courts and believes the policeman did not make this requested call. When she did report for her duty, with only 30 minutes being late, she was informed that she had been replaced by the alternate. She stated, "she was concerned about the notes she made during the first day of the trial and that she had to leave those notes in the jury room when she went home that evening." She said, "her notes mostly pointed out reasons she was leaning towards a not guilty for the defendant." She was adamant about the corruption of our local police force and how she was treated and definitely thought she had been set up! Because of her dismissal and 3 police officers lying under oath, my boyfriend is in prison now. Is there anything I can do to report this obvious detaining and dismissal of a juror? Do you detect anything illegal and could this be jury tampering? Do we have a good case?

Default Re: Jury Tampering?

Hi: It would seem there are some options based on what you say here. WLD post-conviction attorneys regularly deal with the various motions, appeals, writs etc. available after a determination has already been made or agreed in court. They normally charge modest fees to review the case in detail and outline options, strategies etc.

If you believe this really happened, take action asap.
