can a court deny legal council
is it legal for the state of colorado to say that u cannot have a public defender unless u are facing a felony and prison time? i got a domestic violence harrassment charge, was told i couldn't get a public defender, did not have money for a regular lawyer, was told by da that if i didn't enter into a plea agreement then i would go to jail. (thats not legal either is it? plea agreements) so of course i took the deal. now i lost my ability to own a fire arm and have been denied from military service. can i do anything to change this situation such as getting it pardoned

Colorado is a difficult state to clear those things. You may want to get an appeals lawyer ASAP if the case is recent.
