I wish to inform you that under Section 907 of Chapter 9 Title 18 of Pennsylvania Code it has been stated that a person commits a felony of the third degree in case of unlawful body armor. The jail time could be 3.5 to 7 years and maximum fine $15,000.

I would like to add that AFFA is merely telling you the statue of that offense, that does not mean that its what you will recieve in a court of law, there are lots of cirumstances that also influence the courts decision on felony charges ( criminal record, employment, threat level, cooperation with law enforcement at time of arrest, etc ) if its your first felony offense there's a good chance that the judge will drop it down to a misdemeanor and give you a suspended sentence under good behavior, probation, and fines.

The courts are not out to ruin peoples lives, they do give people second chances. So if its your first felony offense then you should be ok, If its not your first brush with the law then it will look like a pattern to the courts and could get more serious. Either way i would get legal representation.. I hope this information helps and good luck to you !
