Confused Probation Violation

My husband is on 1 yr probation for misdemeanor. He was told that by his counselor that they would give him 30days to clean out his system, and then on the following week he went ahead and gave him a drug test. It came back dirty and they arrested him on his 1st probation violation. He goes to court on monday and would like to know what what sort of penalties he may be facing. will they make him stay in for the full yr or just give him a few days. We live in NM. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Default Re: Probation Violation

That is up to the judge. They would prefer to have him clean and out if the court thinks that that is possible.
