Default Family member had someone elses tax sticker on car

My Mom got arrested for having her boyfriends tax sticker on her car, he actually put it on her car because he had an extra and she coulden't affored a new one, she also didn't have insurance and a cracked windshield.

This is in the State of Kentucky, I've heard this is a class D felony but I'm not sure, is my mother going to jail over something this stupid?

The only thing on her record is a DUI from like 5 years ago.

Someone Please answer my question as soon as possible.

It is not likely they will jail her.

Make sure you or she gets counsel (or at least the public defender) to try to keep this off the record eventually--jail time is not likely if her record is clear now. But having that arrest and/or a conviction on the record could make job-hunting etc. more difficult. Often this could be negotiated down to some kind of court supervision or even be completely dismissed etc.
