blind plea-withdraw guilty plea
My brother took a blind plea thinking he would get treatment. Instead, he received a 15 year sentence. How long after he is sentenced does he have to withdraw his guilty plea? This is in the state of Missouri.

I wish to inform you that your brother will have to bring a motion that his blind plea should be withdrawn, if the judge has rejected agreement and has sentenced him. Further, he may appeal the decision on the ground that blind plea was not properly explained to him. The burden will be on your brother to show reasons to remove the blind plea. There is no requirement of following certain period of sentencing in prison for withdrawing the blind plea.
