Arrested, how long before seeing a judge?
My daughter's mother was arrested this past Wednesday for a failure to appear for a traffic ticket and another warrant for writing a bad check. None of her family members want to bail her out. She's in the county jail currently. How long does it typically take for someone to end up seeing a judge? Her bail totals $1600 so it doesn't look like anything major. I figured she would have seen a judge by now. No one at the jail knows when she'll be called to court, I'm just trying to get an idea of how long she'll be in there so I can make plans for my daughter.

If more than a few days call the public defender and seek help, or ask world law's lawyers to intervene.
