EEK! is it possible

state:PA

my boyfriend has been locked up for almost 2 months in the beginning we did post bail and it was alot of money, and his PO put this "permant detainer" until court hearing, not preliminary i guess...but his revocation...but the attorney said he can get the magistrate to grant him to be released until revocation due to the bail being posted in the beginning and giving my boyfriend time to find a job before he goes to revocation..so my question is even though the PO said to hold him for court, can the magistrate release him still and grant what the attorney is trying to do? i am confused
