I'm so aggravated as my husband is. He is being charged with 3 felonies that he didn't even commit!!!! His "so called" friend took off from the cops and my hubby is being charged with the crime. He was the driver and my hubby was the passenger in the vehicle. The judge won't even give him a bond. He's been in jail for 3 weeks!!!! This ******* refuses to step up to the plate and turn himself in. He admits to everyone that he's done the crime but is afraid to go back to prison. My husband had no clue that he would do something like this. Why should my husband have to take his charges while he acts like it's no big deal? We have 2 kids and have a mortgage. This loser has nothing. The only reason he has a roof over his head is b/c he lives in his mother's foreclosing home. NO BILLS, NO JOB, NO WORRIES!!! Well, I believe in KARMA. This piece of **** will get his day! Bastard!!! Sorry, I'm just venting.

Your husband should give evidence to his lawyer to give the prosecutor.
And show that it was not him that committed the crime. But even if you were in the car when a crime is committed you can be charged unfortunately...then you have to show you did not know of the crime etc. |

Your husband can be charged as an accessory to the crimes that the driver was committing. In order for these to be dismissed, he will have to demonstrate that he had no knowledge of the crime that was to be conmmitted, that he did not aid or abet the commission of the crime, that he did not support the commission of the crime. What crimes are we talking about here? Some are easier to prove innocence to than others.
